Who Are We?

As a charity and company limited by guarantee we are governed by a Board of charity trustees who are also our company directors.

Peter Emms is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Prior to taking up this role in April 2007, he worked for Yeldall for over nine years, being both Fund-Raising Consultant and then Chief Executive. He is supported by six other Trustees: Rodney Britton, Jim Herring, Roger Howard, Sue Launders, Ian Myerscough and Heidi Yoder.

Our staff team has been led for many years by Director, Ken Wiltshire. When he retires in April 2012, he will be replaced by Andy Partington, who is now working alongside him. (Read more about this in our newsletter.)

They are supported by a Management Team, which comprises:

Campbell Etchels - Senior Counsellor
Sue Hedger - Fund Raising and Communications Manager
Ben Holt - Works Department Manager
Colin Holmes - Facilities Manager

A number of our staff team, including many of our counsellors, have themselves been through the Manor Programme, making them very well-equipped to help others who are in the same situation.

In total, we have over twenty staff and volunteers, including gap year volunteers via Time for God or Careforce. All of our Trustees and staff are committed Christians, in line with Genuine Occupational Requirements for each post.
