Yeldall Manor > Programmes Home > Resettlement and Aftercare > Our Approach
Our aim is to provide a holistic approach to rehabilitation by providing for physical, emotional and spiritual growth.
The Resettlement Team consists of highly trained Christian staff who are experienced at working within the Drug and Alcohol sector. They provide expertise in Risk Assessment, Key Working and Group Facilitation, leading to successful preparation for independent living.
Each resident meets with their Key Worker and referring Care Manager to develop their Individual Support Plans (ISP) through a comprehensive needs assessment. This ISP forms the basis for their programme and is reviewed during the programme to reflect learning outcomes.
Work placements are targetted to maximise the challenges and opportunities for individual growth, enabling successful work orientation and leading to increased employability. Alongside this there are opportunities for residents to attend college to further their education and skills. In this respect we work successfully with local agencies e.g. NextStep, TEA Shop, Progress 2 Work, OLASS and the National Probation Service and local colleges e.g. Bracknell and Wokingham College and Thames Valley University.
Aftercare is offered to all those who have successfully completed The Lodge Programme, as a vital underpinning of the work done in the rehabilitation process. Our experience has shown that recovery is maintained when residents are able to integrate into local churches and Christian communities by receiving tangible and on-going support once they leave. This adds to the support network available and encourages meaningful social engagement.
