What to Expect
For those coming from other rehabilitation centres or prison:
Initial four weeks is spent participating in the Manor Assessment Phase
At the end of this period, progress is reviewed with resident, Key Worker and referring Care Manager
The Resettlement Manager will confirm suitability for The Lodge Programme
For all residents:
Accomodation in The Lodge consisting of own room, and all other facilities shared with up to three others
Key Worker for induction, including agreeing Individual Support Plan
Sign tenancy agreement, agreeing to abstinence for duration of programme (to view or download, please click button on right)
- Work experience with local businesses
Life skills training from highly trained staff
Specialist skills training, advice and guidance from other agencies
Assisting Duty Staff at Yeldall Manor
Attendance at local church services is encouraged but not compulsory
Attendance at weekly Yeldall Manor community meeting which involves prayer and worship
Building positive relationships within the community and rebuilding relationships with family and friends is a vital part of recovery and often church communities provide a gateway to accessing positive local support. The value of having a faith dimension can help keep motivation high providing hope, and acts on personal and practical levels.
