Admissions Process

The Admissions Department require a completed application form from everyone seeking a place on The Manor programme. These can be downloaded from this website and, once completed in full, must be forwarded by post or fax to our Admissions Department.

On receipt of your Application Form, we will ask for further information from your doctor, drug/alcohol worker, solicitor, probation officer, psychiatrist, care manager, etc. – whoever can provide us with information in support of your application. A visit to Yeldall Manor will be arranged for you as soon as possible. This will give you an opportunity to spend some time with current residents, find out more about the programme from residents and staff and have a full interview with one of the Admissions team.

Before admittance to the programme, confirmation of funding for the programme must be received in writing. If you have a drugs or alcohol worker they will often be able to help you to access this funding. Once written confirmation of funding is received, we would seek to offer a place as soon as possible.

When assessing suitability, the Admissions Team will consider the following:

The Admissions Team will consider applications from men with diagnosed mental health issues or serious crimes such as Arson, Sex and other Schedule 1 Offences on an individual basis.

*not applicable to applicants for the detoxification facility, but they must be fully detoxified before engaging in the main programme.
