Financial Support

The staff and Trustees of Yeldall Manor wish to acknowledge an immense debt of gratitude to the many churches, individuals and trust funds that have supported us for the past thirty years.  Thanks to your selfless support, we have been able to help many hundreds of men find freedom from addiction and, in many cases, new life in Christ.

We value all donations, however small, and every penny helps us continue helping men who want to overcome their addictions.

Many people choose to give to us by Standing Order, and this is very valuable as it gives us some security in our financial planning in what is quite an uncertain climate.

If you are a UK tax-payer, we can reclaim the tax that you have already paid on the amount you give, whether regular or one-off.  We will send you a Gift Aid form for completion on receipt of your gift, so please include your postal address.

How is Yeldall Manor funded?

Although we would love to be able to accept anyone who turns to us for help, finances dictate that we can only accept residents whose stay here is funded.  Normally, this funding would be from their local drug or alcohol service, or probation, although some residents are privately funded.

When we have our expected number of residents, their fees cover about two-thirds of the cost of running the project.  Any additional expenditure, when things need repairing, replacing or purchasing for the house, has to be funded from elsewhere.

At times when occupancy and therefore fee levels are unusually low (such as we experienced in 2007), people’s donations are even more vital to our work just to keep us operating.
