Yeldall Manor Open Day, Saturday 12th July, 2pm

You may remember that we had to cancel last year's Open Day, due to extensive water-logging of our grounds, so the recent spell of warm weather and sunshine has given us great hope as we organise this year's event.  We are praying for dry weather and a bumper turnout because we know that many of you genuinely missed the opportunity to meet with resident and staff in the beautiful grounds of Yeldall  Manor, and to hear of God's goodness to us.

Gates open at 2pm and entry is free.  Do come and enjoy the beautiful grounds of Yeldall Manor. There are things to buy such as home-made cakes, second-hand Christian books, plants and crafts, and lots of things to do such as competitions and games for young and old.

There is plenty to eat too with a barbeque and strawberry tea, which can be enjoyed whilst listening to the sound of live music.  At 5pm, after the stalls close, we move into the marquee for the highlight of the day: a greand celebration with praise to lift the roof and testimonies that will touch your heart, as well as time to remember and thank God for His faithfulness to us.

We have plenty to celebrate, as as He brought us through the difficult times of last year, when we were critically low in residents, and actually ended the financial year with a surplus, which is nothing short of miraculous. His sustaining grace ensures that we are able to continue offering hope and new life in Christ to those in the grips of addiction.

The support we receive from you, both in advance and on the day, is essential in making Open Day a success.  We are grateful for all we have received in previous years and thankful for all those who have volunteered to help by manning stalls, donating new items and gifts for prizes, baking cakes and much more.

DETOXIFICATION at YELDALL MANOR (July 2008)

We are now able to offer detoxification from subutex.

Yeldall Manor has a methadone and subutex detoxification programme. The Methadone reduction programme is being run in partnership with our local pharmacy and is supervised by local GPs.

We are able to offer this detoxification programme for only a small increase over our standard weekly fees. We are able to provide the added benefit of the resident living in a very supportive environment, where he has the opportunity to begin to address his issues while undergoing detoxification.

On completion of the detoxification programme the client would continue on to The Manor (1st stage) rehabiliation programme, with which he would have already been engaged during his detoxification.
