Resettlement and Aftercare

The Lodge programme provides a safe environment where skills that have been newly acquired at Yeldall Manor (or a similar comprehensive therapy programme) can be consolidated and practiced prior to re-integration into the community.

The main elements of the programme include:

Supported Housing
Training and Work Orientation
Employment Support
Group Work
Regular one-to-one Key Working sessions
Support with moving on
Aftercare

During the three to four months that residents are on The Lodge Programme, they live in one of two self-contained flats in an eight-bed Lodge, which is a separate building on the Yeldall Manor estate. All residents who complete The Lodge programme receive ongoing Aftercare for up to one year after leaving. The Lodge is part of Yeldall Manor which is a Christian centre and all staff and volunteers are Christian. Residents do not have to be Christian to join the programme, and we never insist, or force such a commitment upon anyone.
