Forthcoming Events

Whilst at the current time we cannot meet in person, we hope to be able to share on-line with you where possible, until restrictions are lifted.

Our Open Day will be held on-line, on the afternoon of Saturday 3rd July 2021. Join us for an afternoon to enjoy Yeldall and all that goes on here, including a time of worship and testimony followed by a virtual strawberry tea together. Time tbc, probably c. 3pm.

“stRide for Recovery”

The Stride for Recovery 2021 takes place between 5th and 12th June to raise money for the Yeldall Good Samaritan Fund – helping men access rehab and change their lives for the better.

You decide on your distance, whether you want to cycle, run or walk, and whether to do your challenge in one go or spread it out over the week. You can also make a virtual team with your friends and add your miles together – one church team cycled all the way to John O’Groats and beyond last year, without leaving their local area! Some people used exercise bikes in their own homes. Whether you walk 10 miles in a week or cycle 60 miles in one go, you decide your challenge and then get your friends to sponsor you.

Register now to get your Stride for Recovery wrist band and all the details you need including our on-line launch and finale sessions. Email suehedger@yeldall.org.uk or call us on 0118 940 4411.

We are not currently holding in-person Celebration Services, but hope to be able to meet or broadcast in some form on:

7.30pm, Friday 24th September

7.30pm, Friday 3rd December

Prayer Meetings, held monthly at 8pm, are led by Yeldall staff and supporters and provide a chance to share and pray with some of the residents and staff; a time of intercession for the residents’ needs. These take place on the first working Monday of the month. We are not meeting in person at present, but please email suehedger@yeldall.org.uk for up to date prayer needs.

“AbstiLent”

Could you give up alcohol, chocolate or cakes and biscuits for Lent to stand in solidarity and support of our residents as they quit their own life-dominating habits? Many of us are decluttering this year instead. Please join us in being “AbstiLent” over the Lenten period, 17th February to 3rd April, 2021. To sign up, please contact suehedger@yeldall.org.uk.
