Support yeldall with practical help

There are many ways in which you can get involved and help Yeldall Manor in a practical way. If you are able to offer practical support of any kind, please contact us

As well as attending our regular events, and bringing your friends, we always need help, particularly for our Open Day in July.

(Outside of Covid restrictions) we welcome voluntary help, which could include driving the residents on trips out, working on the house, vehicles or grounds (those with practical skills or trades experience are therefore particularly welcome), or working in the kitchen. Please see a summary of some common volunteering opportunities.

Details of voluntary and paid opportunities can be found here

Specific items
There are many items that we need regularly for the house, such as mugs, and men’s toiletries. Last year we also made an ‘alternative Harvest’ appeal for certain crockery and cutlery items. And at Christmas we request ‘stocking presents’ for our residents of confectionary, stationery, toiletries and small items of clothing. Contact us for more information on any of the above.

We can also recycle small printer cartridges: click here to see how to send them (remember to nominate Yeldall as your charity).

Unwanted or broken jewellery or watches (as well as obsolete or foreign bank notes) can also be recycled to raise funds. Click here for more details (remember to put Yeldall’s name on your label).

Books, CDs, DVDs and video games can be collected to raise funds via Ziffit
